COVID-19 – What A Glasco, Inc. is Doing

Our steps to help reduce the spread of COVID-19

At A Glasco, we pride ourselves on maintaining a safe work environment for both our employees and our customers. In order to aid us in the success of our mission of safety, below are some steps we have implemented to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

COVID-19 Notice to All Customers

Due to COVID-19, and the safety of the general public along with our employees, we have instated a new Safety Protocol as follows:

  • All customers are required to call our office prior to arriving and encouraged to make an appointment.
  • Limited to one (1) non-employee person in the office at any given time.
  • If you’re feeling sick with symptoms of fever, cough, and/or difficulty breathing, you will not be allowed to enter our premises. All employees are given the same parameters and instructed to stay home if feeling ill.
  • Maintain at least a 6-foot distance if possible, or have the conversation outside.
  • Employees are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including face masks and gloves, whenever handling materials or monetary exchanges. Customers are strongly urged to wear their own PPE.
  • Under the discretion of our employees, customers may be subject to a temperature check. If the customer has a temperature reading 100.4°F or higher, the customer will be asked to leave immediately.

Safety Measures in the Office

  • Wiping all surfaces clean with Clorox Wipes daily.
  • Maintaining 6-feet of distance.
  • Coughing and sneezing into a bent elbow.
  • Washing hands for a minimum of 20 seconds with soap and water.
  • Holding video conferences when necessary.
  • Checking A Glasco employees’, suppliers’, and customers’ temperature daily.
  • Updating A Glasco team members regularly with prevention methods, signs and symptoms, and what to do if sick.
  • Encouraging members who feel unwell to stay at home.

Safety Measures in the Field

  • Wearing gloves at all times.
  • Wiping our tools and trucks with Clorox wipes daily.
  • Maintaining 6-feet of distance from customers.
  • Coughing and sneezing into a bent elbow.
  • Washing hands with soap and water, and/or using hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Encouraging payments by phone or mail.
